At Statista, we’re all about facts and data, for we are the world's leading business data platform. By providing reliable and easy-to-use data as well as various data analytics products and services, we empower people worldwide to make fact-based decisions.

Founded in Hamburg in 2007, we have quickly grown into a global company with offices in major cities such as London, New York, Berlin and Tokyo. And we still have a lot of plans. Our constant growth does not only prove our success, but also keeps creating new development and career opportunities for our employees.

We value and celebrate our diverse culture. You are welcome here for who you are, no matter where you come from, what you look like, or whether you prefer bar graphs to pie charts. Your story matters – keep writing it as part of our team.

Responsibilities

  • As a UI/UX Designer for Conversion & Growth, you will be responsible for further improving our conversion rates and the growth of our user base. This involves optimizing a variety of conversion elements (such as the pricing overview, registration and onboarding flows, and paywalls) to convert anonymous users into paying customers.
  • You will work closely with our Marketing & Growth department including Product Management, Marketing, and the Engineering team.
  • You will develop detailed concepts, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
  • You leverage data (e.g. A/B testing, funnel analysis, heatmaps analysis, user interviews, and other qualitative research) to inform decision-making. You believe in iterative progress, making small but significant adjustments, and continuously measure, build, and learn to enhance the user experience.
  • You bridge the gap between business priorities and user needs, crafting experiences that deliver value to both the user and the organization.
  • You always keep the big picture in mind, ensuring cross-product consistency and a seamless user experience.
  • You will utilize and contribute to our design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across the platform.

Skills

  • You have successfully completed a degree or training in the field of UI/UX-, product or communication design or similar and have a few years of experience as a user interface and user experience designer for digital products.
  • You are confident using design tools like Figma or Miro and are familiar working with design systems, pattern libraries, and design guidelines.
  • You are familiar with tools like Hotjar, Google Analytics, Braze and can interpret quantitative and qualitative data to inform your design decisions
  • You take a data-driven approach to UX by forming hypotheses and working closely with product and engineering to run A/B tests, validate ideas, and improve user outcomes.
  • You work creatively, structured and independently and are not afraid to question ideas and concepts to achieve the best result considering a holistic user experience.
  • You have good presentation skills and are able to clearly communicate design ideas and solutions to diverse stakeholders, including cross-functional teams.
  • You enjoy sharing your ideas early on and collaborating with engineering teams to shape designs that are both intuitive for users and feasible for development.
  • You have a good sense for innovation and intuitive solutions and are always looking for new UI/UX trends to share within and outside your team.
  • You have a very good command of English. German is a plus.
