About the role
- The UX Designer is responsible for creating UX designs for prototypes that facilitate usability testing, grounded in customer journey mapping and service blueprints. This role will advocate for Human-Centered Design as a core practice and serve as a liaison between the business/Council and the Information Services Branch in designing the customer portal for the new corporate website.
Responsibilities
- Review the associated customer journeys and the corresponding 32 services.
- Help establish a Jobs to Be Done methodology.
- Develop the context model for the Customer Engagement Platform and the internal service model.
- Develop detailed journey maps related to digital services.
- Create interaction models based on our client's design system.
- Assist with user testing.
Skills and experience
- Extensive experience in Agile practices, including the development of epics and user stories.
- Proficient in Figma with expertise in creating interactive wireframes.
