UI/UX Designer – AI & Digital Experience
Location: Washington, D.C. (Hybrid)
Team: Product Design | Reports to: Director, Product Marketing & Experience
About the Role
We are looking for a UI/UX Designer who thrives at the intersection of design, technology, and storytelling. You will help shape the next generation of AI-enabled healthcare and enterprise experiences — designing intuitive interfaces for Zyter’s Symphony platform and creating compelling digital touchpoints across our website and marketing ecosystem.
This is a hands-on, creative role for someone who enjoys turning complex systems into elegant, human-centered designs.
What You’ll Do
- Design end-to-end user experiences across Zyter’s AI product suite — from research and wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes.
- Lead UX discovery and design workshops to translate user needs into intuitive workflows, especially for data- and AI-driven interfaces.
- Develop and maintain a consistent design system aligned to Zyter’s brand and product identity (colors, components, typography, motion).
- Collaborate closely with engineers and FDEs to bring designs to life through iterative prototyping, testing, and feedback loops.
- Create responsive website and microsite designs (marketing, case studies, product landing pages) that convey our brand narrative clearly.
- Conduct usability testing and synthesize insights into actionable improvements for product and web experiences.
- Visualize complex ideas such as AI orchestration, workflow automation, and transformation journeys in clear, modern UI patterns.
- Advocate for design thinking across the organization — balancing user empathy, technical feasibility, and business impact.
What You’ll Bring
- 1-3 years of UI/UX design experience for enterprise SaaS, AI platforms, or healthcare technology products.
- Proven ability to design clean, modern, and functional interfaces using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
- Experience building or contributing to design systems and component libraries.
- Solid understanding of user research methods, information architecture, and interaction design principles.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React, Tailwind, or similar) and ability to collaborate effectively with engineers.
- Comfort navigating AI or data-rich user flows, where information density and usability need to coexist.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills — able to articulate design choices and connect them to user and business outcomes.
- Passion for working in fast-paced, cross-functional teams shaping the future of AI-powered healthcare.
