Our Customer Strategy & Design team discovers, designs, and prototypes customer growth strategies and innovation portfolios.

Work You'll Do The candidate will be the sole designer on the team, expected to drive concepts and collaborate with a cross-functional team to design user interfaces that enhance the usability and accessibility of a custom .NET application.

  • Focus on strategic design and user experience strategies
  • Create user-friendly designs that enhance usability and optimize the overall user experience, while identifying design challenges and proposing effective solutions
  • Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts and facilitate collaboration with internal team and users
  • Produce all design assets including concept designs, user flows, wireframes, user scenarios, journey maps, and mockups that support intuitive and seamless user interactions
  • Advocate for user-centric design principles and best practices throughout the project lifecycle
  • Conduct in-depth user research and interviews to identify the core components of the user’s pain points and establish a common and shared understanding of their goals
  • Uphold high standards of Human-Centered Design, rapid iterations, testing designs to enhance usability and consistency across the software
  • Continuously challenge design effectiveness, monitor user behaviors, and suggest improvements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience using visualization tools including, at minimum: Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat Professional, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma
  • Experience with Section 508 Compliance
  • Experience must include at least print/publication design, web or interactive design, graphical user interface design, wire framing, storyboarding, and user research.
  • Ability to travel 20 - 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong background in human-centered design methodologies and a passion for creating intuitive and engaging user experiences
  • Experience with Adobe Premiere, Flash, Cinema 4D, Dreamweaver, Final Cut Pro
  • Experience pitching new projects and creative concepts to new and existing clients

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,550 to $134,250.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
