Junior Product Designer, New Initiatives
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and talented Junior Product Designer to join our team and contribute to the design efforts for a brand-new product line we’re launching. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about building exceptional user experiences in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You’ll play a key role in shaping the look and feel of our new product from its foundational stages.
‍Responsibilities
- Contribute to end-to-end design initiatives for new products, assisting with strategic discovery, user research, and the delivery of high-fidelity designs.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and business stakeholders, to help define product vision and requirements.
- Apply user-centered design principles, leveraging research and insights to inform your design decisions.
- Create and present design concepts, rationale, and user flows to team members and various stakeholders.
- Maintain strong organizational skills, ensuring your design tasks and projects stay on track amidst multiple moving parts.
- Actively participate in the overall design process and contribute to best practices within the team.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated UX/UI design skills through a strong portfolio showcasing your work from discovery to delivery.
- Experience collaborating with research teams (or a strong understanding of user research principles).
- Ability to communicate design ideas and rationale effectively to diverse audiences.
- Comfortable working as part of a cross-functional team and sharing your work with various stakeholders.
- Highly organized with an ability to manage multiple design tasks.
- A collaborative and adaptable team player with a “can-do” attitude.
Background
- Enterprise-level experience is a must.
- Healthcare industry experience is a nice-to-have.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $35 to $40 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
