UI/UX Designer

The Digital team of designers, researchers, and developers is dedicated to meeting the digital needs of jewelry professionals and buyers. Projects encompass everything from concept to creation and craft an experience for large scale B2B e-commerce, responsive web, customer shopping sites, and more. This team blends coding skills with design sensibilities, contributing to the creation, maintenance, and support of various web applications.

The UI/UX Designer is an essential part of projects from concept to completion as we design and deliver experiences for large-scale B2B eCommerce, responsive and mobile web, consumer shopping sites, product customization, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop user flows, wireframes, site maps, interaction patterns, clickable prototypes, and complete visual designs from low-fidelity concepts to pixel-perfect final deliverables
  • Collaborate with product managers, researchers, marketing teams, and developers in an agile process
  • Serve as an advocate for customers, usability, and data-driven decisions
  • Analyze research data and help translate into usability insights
  • Understand and share best practices, technology trends, and the needs of mobile experiences
  • Continuously increase understanding of our unique business space and audiences
  • Contribute to improvements in design systems, process, and workflow
  • Participate in stakeholder presentations, design reviews, and strategic planning

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field
  • Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
  • Strong visual and functional design skills for digital experiences and ability to understand and visualize complex user flows, interactions, and technical information
  • Understanding of UX concepts and best practices
  • Proficiency with Figma or similar design/prototyping tool (Adobe XD, Sketch, etc.)
  • Team player who works well with others as well as individually
  • Ability to receive and provide critical, constructive feedback
  • Comfortable interfacing with both outside customers and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to quickly adapt when projects and objectives shift
  • Motivated attitude that can handle multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Vector illustration and icon design skills
