UI/UX Designer

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented digital designer to join our growing Product team. This exciting opportunity will see you take responsibility for both UI and UX across a range of category-defining projects, working closely with a world-class team that has big goals and a very important mission. This is a chance for a motivated individual to really sink their teeth into all aspects of the digital product design process, learning from a highly-accomplished leadership group and contributing their own ideas to a business which truly values innovation. This role will be based in our Plano, TX office.

Key Responsibilities:

Research; Discovery

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals

- Analyze user behavior and feedback to uncover insights

- Benchmark competitor designs and industry trends

- Conduct usability testing

UX Strategy; Structure

- Develop user personas, journeys, and flows

- Map out information architecture and wireframes

- Create low- to high-fidelity prototypes for testing and iteration

- Use design thinking to solve complex user problems

UI Design; Branding

- Design clean, on-brand, high-quality UI elements and screens

- Build and maintain design systems, component libraries, and style guides

- Ensure responsiveness and accessibility across devices

- Collaborate with devs to ensure design is implemented as intended

Testing; Iteration

- Conduct A/B testing and usability sessions

- Analyze results and make data-informed design decisions

- Iterate on designs based on feedback from users and internal teams

- Stay open to rapid prototyping and real-time design adjustments

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Work closely with product managers, developers, and content creators

- Present designs and user flows to stakeholders with clear rationale

- Act as the voice of the user in product discussions

- Provide support during development, QA, and launch phases

Tools; Process Mastery

- Confident with Figma, Sketch (or similar) and other relevant tools.

- Be familiar with Jira systems.

- Keep assets tidy, organized, and version-controlled

Preferred Skills:

- Strong understanding of key project management tools and new AI technologies.

- Proficient in the Google suite, Jira, Figma and Monday.  

- Understanding of APIs, data integrations, and general SaaS concepts.- Ability to balance multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
