About The Role

We have a new exciting opportunity for a UI Designer to join our team at Moja! After just launching last year, Moja is AXA's new challenger brand in car insurance. At Moja, our aim is to break down the usual stereotypes associated with insurance, and make it jargon-free, easy to understand, fairer for customers and provide excellent online support. Doing things differently is also something we're baking into our culture. At Moja, we run more like a start-up - avoiding the corporate norms and old-fashioned hierarchy. Instead, we work in close-knit teams with people across the business to solve problems and deliver customer focussed solutions – and have fun while we do it! As a new business in rapid scale-up mode, each day is different. But if you want to work in a fast paced, fun and rewarding environment and are ready to help shake up the world of insurance then Moja is the right place for you. We're looking to build on our diverse team to shape our product, CX and ways of working so insurance industry experience isn't necessary. But having experience working with digital products, in start-ups, agencies or in the fintech industry is a big plus. At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, either at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. We're also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.

What you'll be doing:

  • You'll be a key member of the CX team in shaping the delivery and UI interface for Moja, AXA's new challenger brand, and pushing to continually improve it
  • Designing visuals and user journeys – including layout and composition, information hierarchy, brand and component consistency and iconography
  • Working with a cross-functional team, ranging from UX designers, copywriters, developers, product owners and senior management to deliver Moja's CX
  • Helping to maintain and drive efficiency in our design delivery process through regular design demos, communication and collaboration
  • Collaborating with UX designers to user test journey flows and interface designs; help analyse results and respond strategically to feedback from both users and stakeholders
  • Liaising collaboratively with our developers and testers to ensure designs are delivered through regular design reviews and feedback loops

Due to the number of applications we expect to receive for this role, we reserve the right to close this advert earlier than the listed closing date to ensure we're able to effectively manage interest. Therefore, if you're interested in joining us at AXA, please don't hesitate to apply.
