The base pay for this position is $23 per hour
This is a Boston based opportunity with a 3 day in office expectation (Tuesday - Thursday) with 2 days remote (Monday and Friday)

Who We Are:
We’re the Experience Design team at Wayfair, and we’re tackling exciting challenges that are reshaping how people discover, find, purchase, and have goods delivered to their homes. We also provide a great experience to our supplier partners that sell their inventory at Wayfair. We’re a diverse team of talented Product Designers who are hard at work transforming experiences for our customers, suppliers and internal operations users.
What You’ll Do:
- Join an amazing Design team within the Supply Chain Retail Technology department, where you'll design tools to improve the Supply Chain Network or enhance the Post-Purchase Service experience for our internal users, customers, and suppliers
- Participate in our team meetings and experience design project reviews, retrospectives, knowledge sharing, and provide and receive feedback
- Craft intuitive interface experiences, leveraging design thinking and industry best practices, with support from your dedicated mentor
- Contribute to user research efforts (competitive benchmarking, user interview, surveys, user testing, ux audits, and synthesis of findings)
- Participate in workshops and ideation sessions that harness the brainpower of the collective team
- Produce and iterate on design deliverables that communicate solutions, such as user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals
- Join a cross-functional team of designers, product managers, product analysts and engineers to assist in the day-to-day work of designing delightful experiences
- Present deliverables to partners and stakeholders in order to collect feedback and iterate accordingly
What You’ll Need:
Basic Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (Human Factors, Information Design, Human Computer Interaction, UX Design, etc.) with the expectation the degree will be completed between 2026 and 2029
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Must be returning to the course of study following completion of the co-op
- A portfolio that demonstrates hands-on design work (digital UX and/or visual design work). The portfolio can be presented online or as a PDF.
- Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by Wayfair now or in the future. Visa sponsorship includes the following work visas: STEM OPT EAD, H-1B, H-1B1, E-3, O-1, J-1, or TN.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Passion for the user with a strong interest in understanding their behavior
- Always curious and feels energized by learning new things
- Detail-oriented
- Working knowledge of relevant design tools (e.g. Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, prototyping tools, AI, etc.)
- Ability to make decisions backed up by best practices, research, and understanding of user and business needs
- Analytical and process-oriented mindset, with strong problem-solving skills
- Desire to collaborate cross-functionally, and ability to contribute as part of a team and individually
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excited to see results driven by their work
- Flexibility to adapt to changes in priorities and manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously
- Comfort prioritizing work and meeting deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
