About the role / Ō te tūranga

The role will require someone with a high degree of learning agility, curiosity, and a continuous improvement mindset.

  • Understand current underlying problem/s and make recommendations on opportunities for improvement.
  • Prioritise ideas and identify insights to envision the customer future state experience based on key metrics and data to inform business and product innovation.
  • Undertake user testing of potential solutions and communicate key findings back to stakeholders.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with users, leaders, and subject matter experts across a diverse organisation.
  • Proven experience across the full design process, particularly in user research, experience design, UX strategy, and using tools like Figma.
  • Deep understanding of human-centred design methods such as Design Thinking, Lean UX, journey mapping, and storyboarding.
  • Adaptable and analytical mindset, with strong research skills and the ability to navigate changing environments and interpret business needs.
  • Solid grasp of digital practices and technologies would be advantageous, including Agile, Azure DevOps, Figma and Lean UX.
