What You’ll Do

As a Product Design Intern, you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside a team of designers, researchers, and product managers to help shape the future of drug development. You’ll contribute to projects that span the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept to final execution. This role is perfect for a self-motivated and curious individual who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ability to work Full Time from Monday January 6th,2025 to Friday May 2nd, 2025 (16 week term)
  • Assist in designing intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces that enhance the user experience of Vial’s products.
  • Work closely with the product design team, UXR, product management, and engineers to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design ideas and iterate based on feedback.
  • Support the team in maintaining and evolving Vial’s design system, ensuring consistency across all products.
  • Sit-in on user research and usability testing sessions, gathering insights to inform design decisions and improve the overall user experience

What You’ll Bring

  • A strong portfolio showcasing your design work, with a focus on UI/UX design.
  • Proficiency in using Figma to create designs and prototypes.
  • Excellent visual design skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to create interactive prototypes and mockups to aid in UXR studies.
  • A solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present your work and explain design decisions clearly.
