Junior Product Designer

May 13, 2024

We believe it takes great people to create a great product. That’s why our team lives our company values, and we hire based on them, too. Since 2010, Pipedrive has been on a mission to support sales and marketing teams with easy-to-use, powerful tools that make everyday work faster and easier. Today, our cloud-based software is trusted by over 100,000 companies and used in 179 countries. We have grown from a five-person team to a truly international company of over 850+ people, representing more than 50 nationalities, with ten offices distributed across Europe and the US. In 2020, Pipedrive received a majority investment from Vista Equity Partners, a global investment firm that invests exclusively in enterprise software, data and technology-enabled businesses, making Pipedrive the fifth unicorn from Estonia.

We are looking for a Junior Product Designer to research, analyze, design, and validate Pipedrive’s platform experience across different channels and platforms. You will gain a thorough understanding of our users’ needs regarding integrating with Pipedrive by utilizing a variety of quantitative and qualitative research methods and will prototype solutions to improve its quality and user experience.

If you are someone who has high empathy for users, is good with collaborating with others, loves data-back decision-making, and is obsessed with solving customer problems, we’d love to meet you!

Your new adventure:

  • Work together with the product manager to explore opportunities, understand user needs, and translate those into experiments, solutions, and, in the end, elegant interface designs
  • Participate in user research to understand the needs of Pipedrive’s users and to learn how to use a variety of qualitative and quantitative research methods
  • Dive into data points and the world of causation and correlation to learn more about user behavior
  • Create and maintain deliverables (wireframes, mockups, prototypes, flows, etc.) to communicate ideas
  • Ensure design consistency across the product by using our UX & Design Systems
  • Work closely with engineers throughout a project’s lifecycle, providing support, refining the user experience, and dealing with technical constraints
  • Collaborate with fellow designers to constantly refine Pipedrive’s design language
  • Clearly communicate thought processes and deliverables to stakeholders and implementers
  • Share learnings and provide feedback to other designers
  • Collaborate with remote teams in Tartu, Lisbon and Prague

Does this sound like you?

  • At least one year of experience working or interning as a software designer
  • Proficiency with Figma and experience with Atlassian (or other task management software)
  • Proven experience in user research both qualitative and quantitative
  • An understanding of design systems and how to implement them in your work
  • A strong can-do attitude, great communication skills, and openness to feedback
  • A user-centric design approach
  • The ability to provide practical and functional solutions
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Experience in planning and evaluating work processes and taking ownership of them
  • Great attention to detail and analytical reasoning
  • Having a portfolio or a strong project to showcase is a plus
  • A degree in the Design field is a plus
  • Fluency in English

Why Pipedrive?

  • A value-driven work environment where people come first
  • A lively bunch of colleagues from over 50 different countries, with offices in Tallinn, Tartu, Lisbon, Prague, London, Dublin, New York, Florida, Riga and Berlin
  • A team serious about getting things done while not taking ourselves too seriously
  • A world-class working environment full of perks like parties, craft workshops, snacks and, of course, office dogs
  • Flexible working hours as long as you’re there for your team members
  • Freedom to execute your ideas with a passionate and motivated team supporting you
  • Lots of room for personal and career development, with internal and external training opportunities
  • Competitive salary and bonus system and all the benefits you’d expect from a great employer (health and accident insurance, health days, a quarterly contribution to sports, in-house coaches, employee discounts and more)
