About the Role

Simplehuman is seeking a creative Graphic Designer to join our Design team.  The right candidate understands how to use visual storytelling to communicate marketing messages and brand positioning.

Responsibility scope can include projects in UI/UK web/app design, digital marketing assets, packaging, and trade show/POPs.  The position must enforce brand standards across color, font, production quality, and ensure that the final product is error-free.

This is an entry-level position, but it will also have the potential to grow into more responsibilities and more complex graphic design projects.  This is an on-site position in our Torrance, CA office.

Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize, design and build production files for a wide variety of assets including: digital marketing campaigns, packaging, web/app, and tradeshow/POPs

• Route all creative to the appropriate stakeholder(s) and apply feedback and edits in a timely manner

• Create and prepare artwork for mockups and production
• Translate existing campaign creative into print, digital, and product deliverables
• Coordinate comps, mockups, proof, samples and production with printers and vendors
• Review final copy, layouts and content in print or digital form
• Scale and crop, retouch, change layout and eliminate redundancy in copy
• Check details such as resolution, color, size, and production value

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, UI/UX, Media Arts, or a related field
• Possess a clean and modern design aesthetic
• Up to date on the latest software and technology tools
• Meticulous and extremely detail-oriented
• Able to work with graphics, print, packaging, digital, and video assets
• Excellent communication and project management
• Software: Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, or similar
