Overview

Our team is looking for a Graphic Designer to be responsible for driving innovation with our day-to-day communications associated with the Georgia Lottery’s Digital Interactive channel, iLottery. In this role, the individual will be accountable for creating graphics for all interactive components to build program awareness and ultimately growing revenue. We are looking for someone with passion, energy, intellect, and drive that can bring fresh ideas.
Our ideal candidate has a strong interest in digital marketing, has an enthusiasm for the Georgia Lottery brand and can deliver effective, aesthetic, on-brand, and on-strategy creative for websites, interactive content, email promotional creative, social media graphics, and digital banner ads.

Responsibilities

The Graphic Designer position will be focused on optimizing the customer experience by working on a wide range of marketing outputs including branded content, emails, social media graphics and videos, paid digital ads and developing website content and identifying unique and creative ways to profitably engage customers on the website.

The Graphic Designer will also partner with the research and technology teams to create a framework for using Customer Insights to identify opportunities to enhance content and the overall website experience for target customers. This position partners closely with the other members of the marketing team on all content projects.

•    Create the following content: email graphics, paid ads, organic ads, social media graphics, motion graphics/animation, video content, website graphics (for a variety of formats including web copy, social media, blogs, online contests, paid ads, and email communications)
•    Look to continuously improve the online experiences of this target audience through, site enhancements, marketing campaigns and creative content.
•    Ability to stay abreast of changes in the online marketing environment/ keep up with current trends and adjusting the marketing strategy accordingly.
•    Design and develop the website through suggestions from the team, always keeping the goals for the site and needs of the customer in mind.
•    Build and maintain excellent working relationships with both clients and internal teams.
•    Knowledge of designing for both mobile and desktop UX
•    Manage site content through CMS system (AEM knowledge is a plus)
•    Coordinating, planning, and scheduling online content from creation to acquisition.
•    Communicate and nurture site traffic and targeted prospects through coordinated email nurture campaigns driving prospects to the website.
•    Experience in creating campaign copy or other copywriting development is a plus.
•    Write copy, produce content, and repurpose materials optimized for the web and consistent with the Georgia Lottery Brand Voice

Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field, or equivalent
•    Must be able to demonstrate creative experience through portfolio of work samples.
•    1-2 years of experience in graphic design or content creation
•    Highly experienced with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, Premiere Pro, Animate (or a software equivalent)
•    Familiarity with social media channels Facebook, Instagram, Twitter
•    Familiarity with HTML/CSS
•    Experienced with creating content in Canva
•    Ability to navigate CMS (AEM knowledge is a plus)
•    Excellent project management, collaboration skills with the ability to drive results
•    Ability to meet deadlines without compromising creativity and quality
•    Willingness to work as part of a team and contribute to the success of the group
•    Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
•    Must be fluent in English
•    Able to pass a Security Background Check
