We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic UI/UX Co-op to join our dynamic design team. This unique opportunity allows you to contribute to the design of innovative household products, translating consumer insights into delightful and functional user experiences. As a UI/UX Co-op, you will work closely with our multi-disciplinary team to create physical and digital interfaces that resonate with consumers on both emotional and functional levels.
Responsibilities:
Design Support and Collaboration:
- Support Industrial Design/UI Design leads to contribute to the success of design projects.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team, fostering innovation and problem-solving.
User-Centered Design:
- Apply a user-centered design approach to transform consumer insights into meaningful and delightful product solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs align with user needs and expectations.
Interface Development:
- Develop layouts for physical/digital user interfaces for household products from concept to production.
- Conceptualize and visualize design solutions, generating high-quality materials for presentations.
Prototyping and Specification:
- Create prototypes for research and internal review, refining designs based on user feedback.
- Articulate and specify design intent for manufacturing, including layout, graphics, interaction, and touchpoint behavior.
Innovation and Brand Strategy:
- Understand SharkNinja's brands and contribute to defining the company's future product development strategies.
- Creatively solve complex problems to enhance product functionality and user satisfaction.
- Ensure design solutions align with brand identity and business objectives.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Currently studying or recently graduated in UI/UX Design, Industrial Design, Interaction Design, or related discipline
- Proficient in UI/UX design tools using sketching, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work quickly without compromising quality.
- Adaptability to a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks.
- Strong analytical thinking that leads to creative solutions and innovative ideas
- Strong team player
- An original portfolio of creative work that clearly demonstrates UI/UX development process.
