As a Content Designer you will develop product strategy through business and user insights to yield the desired product experience for users. This opportunity will allow you to craft terminology, product and feature naming, and conduct research to optimize product experience and interface. You will collaborate to develop system guidelines and design features as well as implement a communication strategy to devise and support product positioning.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Arts, Digital Communications, UX Design, Human Computer Interaction, Communications, English, Journalism, or related field.
  • Or equivalent experience.

Content Design IC2 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $76,400 - $151,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $100,300 - $165,400 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Define needs of product designs based on multiple factors such as user insights and the business
  • Collaborate with Design and Engineering team members, program managers, and developers to define and iterate on new and existing product features.
  • Integrate User Experience thinking with design execution to produce usable and intuitive user interfaces.
  • Structure product content, develop taxonomies, craft navigation, name components/controls, and define the messaging hierarchy to make information accessible, usable, and understandable.
  • Ensure key concepts, names, terms, and copy are aligned with customers' intent. Craft clear written communication to guide customers through an experience that pairs with visual design.
  • Apply marketing strategy to devise product positioning, messaging direction, and creative execution guidance for use within elements of and across the customer journey.
